As I told here on occasion, I was lucky enough to attend the grand finale cedor with the invaluable assistance of my friend cedor here. I do not remember very well how the thing started, but the truth is that came the opportunity to travel to Eindhoven and, without thinking much (nothing more) I accepted. My friend was getting me 2 tickets and ran the rest of my account.
The first dilemma was to know who I would travel. Discarded any of my kids (was not secured a place to sleep, and Ma was then 10 years and P. 9), I contacted my brother P. then living near Sevilla (Seville now does it) exercising his priestly ministry. Nor much sticking to accompany cedor me. In the end I opted for one that knew virtually through the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), where he was a tutor and he studies other student, but we agreed that I discussed in a forum frequently. The only thing that united us was our love for the Seville and the rest, the truth is that the differences were large, becoming abysmal on particular topics. It was a peculiar kind. Sufficient example their separatist ideas combined with being a follower of Seville. Yes, I know, weird, weird ...
Once accepted the invitation, and made preparations, were at the airport in Barcelona the day of the game at a very early hour. There we took a plane destination Amsterdam and from there by train to Eindhoven, famous, among other things, for being the headquarters of the company Philips, sponsoring local team, the powerful former PSV Eindhoven.
We arrived around noon and that was already a hotbed of fans both teams: Sevilla and Middlesbrough, an English team in those years, like Sevilla, lived its heyday in its 100 years of history) . However, the feeling (and reality) is that there was not more sevillistas English fans.
We ate at a shopping center and from there we headed to the airport cedor because hallucinating-going-I had no entries. We had to give the contact of my friend in Sevilla (in fact it was a contact in a contact Sevilla at the club). After a phone call, confirm the arrival time of your flight and there he expected to hand us 2 tickets. As in the movies, "Wear a blue blazer and tie color ..." I, "I wear a hat of Seville" Now, you must be unique, must have thought this type.
We visited a little town (most importantly see it in a few minutes), we went through the square which was convened to Sevilla and headed to the stadium. Stadium name?? Exactly, Philips Stadium! After taking a few pictures and finishing the inaugural ceremony I also finished the camera battery, so this was the last photo I could do.
The match turned out to be a ride for Sevilla won its first UEFA Cup with a convincing 4-0. Euphoria from a little used to winning titles broke hobby. In fact, I had never seen my team win anything. It was the beginning of an unforgettable season for Sevilla, who since then and in just over 15 months won another UEFA Cup, a European Super Cup Spain Super Cup and Copa del Rey. And I was there! Sure, it was then a lad of 38 years and so I jumped at the adventure, accompanied by a guy I barely knew, no place to sleep, no entries in the pocket until a few hours before the game ...
I have great memories of that trip to Eindhoven. What? As at the end where we sleep? Well ... hmm, what we tried in the train station, but police cedor evacuated the terminal and ... slept on the street! But, as I said, one was young (he was only 5 children) and his team one did anything. Yes, I came home and busted a dream ... but we won!

:-( I do a post about some memories and background, single cedor line, talk some football and ... very few comments, some non-comment and another that says it does not understand (revenge?) ;-) Delete
You were right to go and keep this memory forever, paterfamilias. Seen as things go, but I do not regret not having gone to see Deportivo play against cedor the Lightning, here in Madrid. Reply Remove
Thank you Fernando. This one is a commentary as God intended! The circusntancias were conducive to go. Today probably would not: basically because I am older and have already seen winning titles to Sevilla (I could also go to the Cup Finals 2007 and 2010). Yes, as you say, I'll always have that memory. Remove
