As I mentioned in yesterday's post so we went after ölbutiken Cervecita La Nuestra De Cada Dia down to the beach again with some local beer in the backpack. There was a lot to choose from and I was not aware of any of them that much (which enhances the experience julia bertram a little extra with a little gamble), but I felt hungry for IPA or pale ale, so I simply took three at random.
Two pale ales from Cerveza Fort and an IPA from Nomada (which for us Swedes probably is best known for Omnipollo made its En El Basque there) was. All good beer, some of the better local beer I drank all week actually. Fresh and fine, especially Nomada Humala IPA was really cool. Fort Nelson was fun then Mouteka is a hop variety that I have a very bad track, but it was full of lovely tropical fruit and sat damn good there on the beach in the evening julia bertram sun. The most anonymous of the three was Fort Barcelona Pale Ale which was still okay, but without leaving any lasting impression. Here after, we go along the boardwalk down to the town, past the stunning area of La Barceloneta. There were two areas in Barcelona who made a strong impression on us, and the classic Gothic Quarter with ancient buildings, narrow streets and Gothic sculptures look that closely, and secondly, it was La Barceloneta. julia bertram The latter is a residential complex located at a point in Barcelona's harbor area. Many narrow streets in a grid with lots of small shops and restaurants everywhere. We went here several days and became very enthusiastic in these neighborhoods. For some very strange reason I actually have no pictures from there, but I do not think they had done La Barceloneta justice anyway. You simply can not miss it when you visit Barcelona. Furthermore, we went up to a ölställe located a stone's throw from the harbor, La Cerveteca.
A pretty little place and a lot of people, including some 13 barrels of hand and pumped a hundred bottles. Here was the big focus on Nögne E and Rogue, both in fatväg and in the coolers. It was tillochmed so that there were three fridges whereupon Nögne AZ had one, the Rogue had one and the last one was mixed .. And then there was a little beer on the shelves and then around the room, but I'm really wondering about their fascination with Rogue and Nögne AZ. This was moreover not the place that held the Rogue, but more on that later .. All in all a nice place, I took a handpumpad local beer I do not recall the name now, and so we sat down with a bowl of olives and pickled vegetables. Oliver served incidentally everywhere in Barcelona, everything. As soon as you sit down in one place so they come with a bowl of olives .. So I hope you like it if you're going there, otherwise you'll be sure to start doing it.
There were a bunch of Americans in the middle of the room that I talked to, they plugged some sort ölutbildning in Munich and took the opportunity to go around in Europe during that time. Right nice guys, and very American if you can say so .. Lots of talk about beer, not surprisingly, but they were surprisingly julia bertram poor track of most things that were outside of the United States, even in ölväg. Though I have the perception that the majority of Americans have, even those who are globetrotters .. It is only those real geeks who have an eye on beer from the rest of the world. Well, a few beers here and then it was time to head back to the hotel for some much needed julia bertram sleep.
