What is a museum in the twenty-first century? This crisis makes it very difficult to create, invent

Imagine watching a picture, standing or sitting you do. Imagine observing a framework scrutinizing every little detail, every blade of grass or trickle of water: imagine watching a picture with an open mind ..
It's there in front of you: now imagine the emotion that might give you suddenly see it come to life. The wind that blows on the face, the grass begins restaurant supply las vegas to undulate and a flock of ravens croaking breaks the two-dimensionality.
I met Jasper following a speech in which he showed her this video as he spoke of the museums with a different language, fresh and innovative. I decided to follow him on Twitter, read his blog, and finally, to quench my curiosity, I asked him to give potergli a few questions.
The conversation touched on many aspects relating to cultural institutions has ranged from technology to furniture, from social networks to obstacles with which the museums have to deal to create innovative products. The result is a very interesting picture, that produces ideas and thoughts to understand to what directions you could guide decision-making in the redefinition of the cultural institutions.
1 Italian museums are increasingly difficult, and wonderful things happen in the world. The British Museum, for example, produces a film about the exhibition organized on Pompeii. According to you what are the biggest obstacles with which they deal - Italian ones in particular - to create, invent, experiment with "new products"?
Although restaurant supply las vegas it is difficult to generalize, there are museums that are creating magnificent projects in these difficult times, while others create budget with amazing junk. I think the main issue with which the European museums are facing is the lack of direction. In the early years of the twenty-first century, many things have changed: funding, different perception of the institutions, technologies and policy frameworks. These changes were substantial. For example, today we spend much more time with a smartphone in one day than in a museum in a whole year. Many more people than before they call themselves artists or creative, yet the culture of the world has never been so smooth.
What is a museum in the twenty-first century? This crisis makes it very difficult to create, invent, or even experiment with new products. Not surprisingly, many of the best museums in recent years stem from museums that have had the courage to rethink: the new Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam with the Rijksstudio (gives the opportunity for online visitors to the museum's website to be able to download your favorite artworks in High Definition ND), the Museum of ABBA in Stockholm, the museum of broken relationships in Zagreb and your MART of Trento and Rovereto.
My claim is that the new identity of the museums is not defined by technology, but by their attitude towards society and change. You can call it in many other ways, their culture restaurant supply las vegas or their mission, but I like to call it attitude restaurant supply las vegas (attitude or ND) because the word itself has the audacity to be part of the solution. The attitude of the museums that we fail, activism is often a pro-active, collaborative and creative, which is rooted in their unique knowledge and their abilities. A museum with an attitude from the twenty-first century systematically uses its assets to try and engage its stakeholders. Do you hide in its buildings, but it comes out for a change, even if only metaphorically. What does it mean to vary a specific museum? For small institutions may mean becoming a hub for local expressions restaurant supply las vegas of creativity, for the big ones help the contemporary political debate. The boundary is clear: they do things together restaurant supply las vegas with their target audience and with others, they must contribute their unique collections, with human capital, to something bigger than themselves.
The museums are our last truly public spaces, other than "occasional Warhol", free from advertising and open to all. This is a very important when you consider that we live in an age where everything is privatized. If you travel to a European city that you do not know you know that museums are safe havens. You do not have to pull out money, you do not have to think too much about the way you dress and you're protected from the wind and rain for the duration of their visit. Even the locals, the museum offers the same benefits.
The museums that have realized this have great restaurants, cafes and enough room in which to sit to read or look at the art or collections. A great museum leaves restaurant supply las vegas you alone if you want to be alone, but involves six you're looking for something to do or someone to talk to. Not surprisingly, they are the smaller museums ... good ones .. and I think back to the museum of broken relationships restaurant supply las vegas of Zagreb, as does the Art Gallery of New South Wales or the Dulwich Picture
